David Aldaco is a professional with an MPA in Finance and a BBA from Arizona State University. He possesses a robust skill set that includes strategic planning, and project management. David is currently channeling his expertise into advocacy, focusing on improving educational outcomes for students after high school education.

His professional background is marked by significant roles in educational outreach and student financial aid at Arizona State University, where he provided academic support and guidance. In these roles, David harnessed his leadership abilities and data-driven decision-making skills to encouraging students' success.

Additionally, as a co-founder of the Campus Start Education Consulting firm, he extends his passion for education by supporting student development.

David's bilingual fluency in English and Spanish enhances his communicative reach, enabling him to make impactful contributions to diverse initiatives. His dynamic presence and broad skill set make him an asset in professional and community-oriented projects.

David J. Rodriguez, M. Ed., co-founder and managing partner at Campus Star, boasts a distinguished career marked by extensive community service. Beginning in Superior, Arizona, he graduated from Superior High School and proceeded to the University of Arizona, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology.

Subsequently, he completed a Master's Degree in Educational Leadership at Northern Arizona University. Recognized for his contributions, David received the College Success Arizona STAR Award in 2016 and the National College Attainment Network's David B. Swedlow Award in 2014, underlining his significant impact in education. 

 

David's expertise encompasses program development, evaluation, college access processes, educational marketing, and recruitment/retention strategies. He held key roles at institutions including Pima Community College, the University of Arizona's Area Health Education Center Program Office, the Metropolitan Education Commission's Regional College Access Center, and the Earn to Learn Scholarship Program. 

 

At Earn to Learn, David played a pivotal role in establishing and managing highly successful college access programs, securing millions of dollars in scholarships and financial aid for students. His dedication to education continues to inspire countless individuals, making him a true champion of learning in our community.

Zulema Fragoso is a highly dedicated school counselor in Arizona. She holds a Master's degree in School Counseling from the University of Arizona and has been actively involved in the field since 2006, beginning her career with GEAR UP (Gaining Early Awareness & Readiness for Undergrad Programs).

 

Zulema's true passion lies in assisting students in pursuing post-secondary education, regardless of their chosen paths.

Her notable achievements include receiving the prestigious 2017 Arizona Star Award from College Success Arizona and the coveted title of 2023 Arizona School Counselor of the Year, a testament to her exceptional contributions to the field.

She has also been actively engaged in educational organizations, serving on the Arizona School Counselor Association Board of Directors from 2020 to 2023 and the Rocky Mountain Association for College Admission Counseling Board of Directors from 2023 to 2026. She has contributed to the ACT Council for the State of Arizona and currently holds the role of Horatio Alger Field Director for the State of Arizona since 2020.

Outside of her professional commitments, Ms. Fragoso finds joy in spending quality time with her family, honing her baking skills, and cherishing moments with friends. Her unwavering dedication to education and her community makes her a valuable asset in the field of school counseling, positively impacting the lives of students and the broader realm of education.
